Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Erin Rothrock, DVM
Medical Director
Dr. Erin "Doc Rock" Rothrock (he/him) is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He started his career in Florida working with exotic and small animals in private practice, but migrated to emergency medicine during the pandemic.
That shift ended up being just the change he needed and one that he continues to find very rewarding. Outside of the clinic, he is kept busy with his family and pets.
He and wife Alison have a uniquely blended family with 5 kids ranging in age from 18 to 2, as well as 11 non-human children including 2 dogs, 3 cats, an African grey parrot, 4 snakes, and a gecko that is legally old enough to drink (not that Doc would let the gecko have alcohol, of course).
In amongst all of that, in his "down time", Doc can be found working on home improvements, tending to his houseplants, playing the ukulele, or exploring on his bicycle.
